My Name is Teak J. Drewett-Tyson founder and lead instructor of Big Tiki Swim Lessons. I grew up in Hawaii where I found a love for water. My passion started as a toddler and advanced to high-school where I was a team captain for three consecutive years, spending my junior and senior years also in state competitive swimming, which then followed through to college. By the age of 18 I wanted to join the Navy where wanting to pursue a career in rescue diving. Within that time I was diagnosed with cancer halting my love of the water. After conquering cancer I have made it my mission to provide water safety and share a passion of swim with all that want to venture into this endeavor with me. Further more I am proud to present Big Tiki Swim Lessons founded in 2021! I pride myself on being able to help anyone and everyone conquer their fears of the water and enhance their swimming abilities.

Here at Big Tiki Swim Lessons we strive to provide a fun, and positive experience when it comes to all your water safety needs. We provide 1-on-1 lessons with no age restriction and for anyone who wants to master the art of swimming seven days a week April through October.

Our mission is to give a more personalized experience to all.
